{"id":1777300544,"date":"2026-10-08T09:18:50","date_gmt":"2026-10-08T08:18:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/if-pan.edu.pl\/?p=1777300544"},"modified":"2026-10-22T12:54:41","modified_gmt":"2026-10-22T11:54:41","slug":"if-pan-researchers-among-the-worlds-top-2-scientists-in-2026","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/if-pan.edu.pl\/en\/news\/if-pan-researchers-among-the-worlds-top-2-scientists-in-2026\/","title":{"rendered":"IF PAN Researchers Among the World\u2019s Top 2% Scientists in 2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-pm-slice=\"1 1 []\">The Maj Institute of Pharmacology,Polish Academy of Sciences (IF PAN) has once again been included in the prestigious <strong>World\u2019s Top 2% Scientists<\/strong> list, compiled by Stanford University and Elsevier based on bibliometric data from the Scopus database.<\/p>\n<p>In the latest edition of the ranking, published in 2026, <strong>19 scientists affiliated with IF PAN<\/strong> were included among the world\u2019s top 2% of scientists in terms of their <strong>career-long scientific impact (Career-long Impact)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>A further <strong>6 IF PAN scientists<\/strong> were included in the ranking assessing <strong>scientific impact in the most recent year analysed (Single-year Impact)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>World\u2019s Top 2% Scientists<\/strong> ranking is based on a range of bibliometric indicators, including the number of citations, the h-index and other measures of scientific impact.
